How to request deletion of your Narvi account

This page is for customers of Narvi Payments Oy Ab (Narvi), including users of the Narvi mobile app. You can request deletion of your Narvi account and the personal data associated with it without reinstalling the app.

How to request deletion

Email support@narvi.com from your registered Narvi email address.Include:
• your full name
• the company name on the account, if you have a business account

Identity verification

We will confirm that the request comes from the account holder before we act on it. We may ask you for additional information so we can identify you.

Open IBAN accounts

If you still have open IBANs, you may need to close them and withdraw remaining funds before we can complete account deletion. See how to close your account and withdraw funds

What we delete and what we keep

When we delete your account, we delete the user data associated with it, including data collected through the Narvi mobile app, while respecting applicable legal limitations on data retention.Narvi Payments Oy Ab is an Authorized Electronic Money Institution (EMI). Narvi’s EMI license is granted by the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority (FIN FSA). We retain the necessary personal data for as long as it is required by law and our industry. We will retain your customer information for at least five (5) years after the end of your customer relationship, and longer if necessary, e.g. to resolve a criminal case. We retain data related to transactions and assignments for five (5) years, and the data will be retained by us for five (5) years after the end of the customer relationship. We retain personal data related to the prevention and combating of money laundering, terrorist financing and fraud for at least five (5) years after the end of the customer relationship.

How long it takes

After we have verified your identity, we aim to complete deletion requests within 30 days. If we need more time because of legal retention checks, we will tell you.
